Onboarding at Fun Fitness for Females

The onboarding process is one of the most valuable parts of joining any gym, studio, or fitness centre. It allows you to ask all the questions you might have, it gives us the chance to get to know you and your goals so we can ensure your journey is fun, educational, and fulfilling.

Once you decide to visit our studio, whether it’s for a casual package or a membership you can make an appointment for an initial consultation (onboarding). Booking is made easy in our app or by talking to one of our friendly reception team.

Base onboarding takes 15-30 minutes and covers the basics you need to know about the studio, like where the bathrooms and emergency exits are. All the things to keep you safe and to ensure you’re comfortable making the studio feel like home. We will show you through each of the rooms and finish up by showing you the PT room that is bookable for open gym sessions when there’s no PT sessions happening. Foundations onboarding is a 30–60-minute booking that is completely led by you. Foundations is best suited to the studio go’er getting back into their fitness journey, the newbie or the ladies who want to start tracking progress. We’ll sit down with a cupper and discuss your goals, the types of exercise you like or dislike and where you would like to aim for on your journey. At this time, we can take measurements and weights as a baseline for your personal file, this is completely optional and will be led by you and your preferences.

You will be given a complete tour of our studio, shown a few classes (no participation required), and then shown our PT room that is bookable as open gym floor type training. (available for booking when not in use by our Personal Trainers in session) Here we will guide you through equipment you will be using in classes, so it is familiar when you book your first class and beyond. We will also provide instruction on the correct posture and movements for the core exercises, ie squats, deadlift, sit-ups so please wear comfortable clothing.

Base & Foundations onboarding: If needed, we will assist with downloading the app and run through how to find the classes you want, how to book online and answer any questions you might have.
